Clearing Up The Problem Of Pimples So You Can Be Acne Free

By Acne Guru | December 28, 2009

Life can be a hard rode when you’re growing up. It’s not easy going through the changes that you face, and that includes when that acne begins to appear on your face. Some people are hit harder by the onset of acne, and it can be devastating to their social lives.

Of course there are many different choices out there when it comes to getting rid of acne. But are you sure that it’s the best skin care choice for you? You should never use something that will hurt your skin.

That includes trying to squeeze those zits and black heads, because that can injure your skin, and make the problem much worse. You can become acne free though with proper skin care and eating the right foods.

Since the cause of most problems with pimples is a blocking of a pore, and the buildup of oil under the skin, washing is very important. You should always make sure you wash your face, especially if you have makeup on.

How to get rid of acne? Well first off you need to buy a soap that will not dry out your skin, but moisturize it. You should also buy some soap that will help clean off makeup that you may have placed on during the day. Never let it set on your skin overnight, because it may build up blockage and cause zits to form.

Those creams that you can buy in stores will normally either have salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide as an active ingredient. Make sure that you’ve read the directions and are not placing the product on your skin more than is recommended.

When you wash your face off, you shouldn’t use a cloth and scrub the skin. You will be spreading that bacteria out and possibly causing more acne to grow. Instead you should use your hands, after you’ve washed them of course.

If you’re worried about the zit standing out more than normal, you can apply concealer to it. Also think about using a dermabrasion to help cut down on the redness that will be found on your skin. Some people have used toothpaste that they place on a tissue and put on the acne, leaving it on overnight. You can try that, but also use the peroxide or salicylic acid on a tissue and place it on the spot overnight.
